The Gruene River Hotel opened under the original name in 1999, a retirement project of Linda and Lloyd Kleypas. Each room of this retreat has its own personality and own experience to offer. Family owned when it opened, and family owned it stays! We've proudly kept the cozy feeling instilled by the original owners and welcome guests as our own.
